Mt Josephine, Angeles NF

I would like to note that this hike marks the 4th anniversary of my hikes.txt hiking log. The log doesn’t note *all* the hikes I’ve ever been on, but it’s most of them. (I started it with my first pair of real hiking boots. However, my first real hike as an adult was Mt Monadnock, when I was 21 or 22 or so. Thanks Jake!). Part of the way to Fish Forks, Angeles NF

On the lovely day of April 4, 2007, I decided I want to go on a hike. I went with Erin, Gretchen, Joe and Ben on a just over 6 mile hike , on part of the Fish Forks Trails (hike 88 in Trails of the Angeles). The part we did had only 900′ or so of gain. google earth image of the hike

Sturtevant Falls from Chantry Flats

March 18, 2007 we (Joe, Erin, and I) went to Sturtevant Falls, Angeles NF, starting from Chantry Flat , which we were excited to revisit, as it had been closed for several years. The hike wasn’t too long, about 4.5 miles in length, and about 1k’ of climbing total.
